Beautiful hotel for the area! I grew up coming to Alpena for the summer to spend with family and this hotel is such an upgrade. We have stayed at all the others and this is by far the nicest and cleanest! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The snack area was a huge hit for my daughter and the pool was super nice. Will be booking here again!

The ledge in the shower was very dirty. The worst issue is the irons and ironing boards. The irons are poorly designed and easily fall over. My first ironing board had melted plastic on it that got on the iron and my shirt. I got another iron and ironing board from the front desk - prompt and friendly service. The second ironing board had three scorch marks on it. This is a safety issue.
The staff was excellent and friendly.

This hotel is new as of April 2025, so it is very clean and new! The desk clerk was very professional and friendly, and even upgraded us. Our King Suite was gorgeous and spacious. Minor complaints that the doors are very heavy so when people come and go - it is loud. We used our sound maker to buffer the noise at night. Breakfast was great, offering the usual options but very tidy and tended to, and plenty of seating!
