The well-preserved Corral del Carbón offers a glimpse into 14th-century Islamic design that history buffs will love. The area buzzes with traditional tapas bars where drinks come with free small plates of local specialities. Boutique hotels in converted palaces and convents provide authentic Andalusian charm. Most attractions are within easy walking distance on pedestrianised streets, though cobblestones call for comfortable shoes.
Perched on a hillside above Granada, Sacromonte captivates with its unique cave dwellings carved into the rocky terrain. This historic Roma enclave vibrates with the soul-stirring sounds of authentic flamenco performances held in intimate cave venues. Visitors can explore the fascinating Sacromonte Abbey or learn about traditional gypsy culture at the Cuevas del Sacromonte Museum while enjoying spectacular views of the Alhambra. This hotel was absolutely brilliant right in the middle of Granada with incredibly helpful staff both on the reception and in the dining area.
Nothing was too much trouble.
The car park is quite difficult to find, but they did their best to help me.
The pool is only a plunge pool not a swimming pool but the rooftop area is great. They just need a few more beds as once there are eight people up there there’s no space….
Exceptional loved it

The self catering apartments were just as they look on the website, very good. A brisk walk uphill from Granada itself, which was what we expected. Very helpful staff. A small food welcoming pack. Very narrow streets, some the 'width of a mule'. If you are arriving by train or bus, take a taxi!

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Granada
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Granada is during July, August, and November, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a budget-friendly trip that allows you to fully appreciate the city’s rich history and culture, it is recommended to stay for at least 2 to 3 days. This duration is perfect for discovering key landmarks like the cathedral, monuments, and castles, as well as enjoying the beautiful gardens and museums. You’ll also find plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, shopping, and relaxing in charming cafés, all of which offer great value for money.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals for hotels in Granada, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to find the best options. You'll be promptly notified if prices drop or rooms become available, facilitating your spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a hotel in Granada. If you are seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised atmosphere and potentially better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer you a more appealing option.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but with Granada's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found.
