Lovely hotel in the heart of Zermatt. Breakfast and service were excellent and our room had an incredible view of the Matterhorn (when it wasn’t covered by clouds). Very easy walk from the train station and close to restaurants and the station to go to Blauherd/Sunnegga. Would absolutely stay here again.

There is no front desk, but the instructions for checking in and checking out were clear and flexible.
The hotel is situated in a good location, within walking distance from the train station and the major lifts/trains to go up the mountains.

Unobstructed view of the Matterhorn from our balcony, and bed! Room was small but was fine. Breakfast was nice in a lovely cozy dining room.
We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent.

We spent three nights at Hotel Restaurant Le Mazot Zermatt and really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable with huge balcony where we could view the golden top of Matterhorn. A sweet and cozy spot to relax after exploring Matterhorn!
