"The beds were very comfortable and everything worked - air conditioning, shower, toilet, safe, tv, etc. (Upon arrival, the shower only had lukewarm water. The staff remedied the situation very quickly.) Breakfast was lovely and served in the restaurant right outside the door. There was outdoor seating and more pastries than you could eat. The biggest surprise was the offer of a to-go breakfast when we told the manager we were getting picked up at 6:45 am. We each got a sandwich, an apple, a pastry, water and juice. AND they accomodated my husband who is gluten sensitive. It was unreal. Completely unexpected. The area was safe and nestled among 3 churches. I look forward to going back."

"The spa was excellent. Loved using the pool and jacuzzi (no extra charge). The breakfast was also excellent and included a wonderful fresh made buffet spread and made to order food. The room was nice and the staff pleasant. The rooftop bar had nice views. Parking was the only tricky thing - very limited & first come first serve."

"The hotel is quite basic but clean, well decorated and maintained. The rooms were not huge but absolutely big enough with a good shower in the bathroom. We had a sea view which added to the experience. Traffic noise is a bit of a nuisance but with the window closed and the a/c running, the room did not overheat and the noise was all but inaudible. Staff were very helpful, breakfasts were buffet style but good choice. The location was excellent for visiting the sights of Heraklion."
