5 Oct 2025The apartment had a stunning view, that was the best thing about it. It was also a good size and very clean with a comfortable bed, good wardrobes in the bedroom and a adequately equipped kitchenette with a good kitchen table and a sofa bed in he kitchen/dining room. Generally we liked this top floor flat and elevated location very much. However some significant items let it down: the freezer compartment door was broken off which meant everything in the fridge froze. So it was not possible to shop and cook meals or even have breakfast in the flat since milk, butter, vegetables, ham, cheeze all froze overnight. Secondly the shower didn't have any pressure to the shower-head so showering had to be done sitting or crouching on the shower floor. For anyone with mobility issues this would have been a shower-less holiday. Finally there were several broken lightbulbs, including one of the bedside reading lights, which gave a negligent impression. If these easily fixable snags had not been there, we would have given this place 5*.
