Not a Hotel Room
The place wasn't even a hotel room but a small studio apartment that was rented out and not yet done with renovations. The door of our room had a letter "A" written in pen, taped on it, not even a proper room number. There were wires hanging out of a wall , some random furniture pieces, a queen bed, and a pullout couch that could only fit a child under 10. This space was presented as fitting 3 adults and 1 child. The boiler, about 8-10 feet from the ground needed to be rebooted to provide hot water. No one did that, so we only has cold water for showering. There was barely any soap provided for bathing. One of the towels provided to us had stains on it. There were no sheets for the pullout couch, and the blankets were stuffed into drawers that were too small to store them. We had one small fan to cool 2 rooms and you couldn't open the windows because they opened towards a narrow, musty, and dank space, and grimy wall. To top it off, we couldn't contact the property manager or anyone for that matter because there was no internet service.
