Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming.
One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool.
Great location for business reasons. I will book again.

Room was ok toilet seat was wonky so when it moved you could see where it hadn't been cleaned, little maintenance jobs need to be carried out. Food wasn't as good as it used to be in the restaurant.

There is a restaurant on the property which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The train station is super close gets you to downtown Aberdeen in 10 minutes. The staff is helpful and friendly. If you have a lot of luggage you can ask for a larger room. I would recommend this hotel

100 quid for a night here was slightly outrageous. Hottest day of the year but my tiny room was dark and cold.
The view from my window was a wall and down pipe 3 feet away !!

Our room was small and toilet seat broken. Disturbed sleep noises from rooms above us. Not good especially at 4am.
Overall this is the first time experiencing this as we have stayed many times before .

Never stopped here before and went with reviews from website. Hotel check in was good and quick. The room however was not that good.
Cracked tiles in shower, Curtain did not close properly. As the room was on the front of the building, the noise from the road was horrendous. The main issue was the very thin walls and as I was on the bottom floor the elephants that were in the room above could be heard all night. I was impressed as I was also able to hear them having sex most of the night, I was very impressed with his stamina.
I will not be staying here again and I would advise ear plugs are needed if you do.

I love the Dunavon, it's cosy & friendly & the radiators in the rooms & bathrooms have thermostatic valves so that you can control the heat. The windows open, no awful air con. They have a real coffee machine too so you can get a nice strong filter coffee. It's also a bar which is nice. The price is ace too.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to help and even lent me a hoover for my hire car foot wells.
My room was small but comfortable but my colleagues room was spacious and comfy too.
The shower worked well but took several minutes for the hot to come through but once it did it had great pressure and temperature.
The WIFI was great and the food was both quirky, tasty and great value. The haggis and beef wellington starter was fantastic and so was the flour tortilla chilli lasagne.
The bar was well stocked and some great IPA and whiskeys.
Breakfast was good value too.
Not sure if it was Julie or Emily that made our stay better but thanks to you for your help (sorry but we stayed in a few hotels over the last week).
