The room was nice, big and clean. It seemed newly renovated with furniture, paint and bathroom. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 children.
For the children's beds it would have been nice with a safety railing as the beds where clearly meant for children. Our kids both fell out during the night.
We had a room facing the street. The windows kept the noise outside, but we had to open them as the room got very hot at the evening as the room was facing the sunset. The blinds were very efficient and the room was blacked out.
Our main issue was the situation regarding the breakfast. When we arrived we were told that the breakfast was at 6.30 and the price for adults were 10 euro and for children 5 euro.
At 6.50 we arrived for breakfast only to find it closed. Some guests were already waiting and others arrived. We had all been told that the breakfast time was 6.30.
We located the kitchen staff, which told us that it was 7.30. One guest had had breakfast the day before at 6.30.
The breakfast was ok. The staff told us they were new, and it showed. The eggs were overcooked and blue and several trays were empty for too long time.
When we had to check out, the receptionist charged us 10 euro for the children and got angry when we said that we had been told another price.
This place need some better communication between the staff. Some people waiting for breakfast needed to catch a ferry and we all wanted to get on with travelling.
