Bandra West

Bandra West is Mumbai's coolest area, where Bollywood stars and creative types mix with everyday locals. The seafront promenades at Bandstand and Carter Road offer perfect sunset spots with Arabian Sea views. Shop till you drop on Linking Road or Hill Road, where boutiques and street vendors hawk everything from fashion to souvenirs. Mount Mary Church provides a peaceful escape from the bustling streets. The dining scene spans from street food stalls selling vada pav to celebrity chef restaurants along Carter Road. Accommodation tend towards the upscale, with boutique hotels and luxury properties offering ocean views. Getting around is easy with the nearby Bandra railway station and plentiful auto-rickshaws that zip through this walkable, vibrant area.

Dining ranges from luxury hotel restaurants to authentic seafood shacks where you can feast with your toes in the sand. Most visitors stay in upscale beachfront properties with spectacular Arabian Sea views. Auto-rickshaws and taxis zip through the area, making exploration easy despite the occasional traffic.

Nariman Point

Mumbai's premier financial district, Nariman Point, offers more than business buzz. The iconic Marine Drive promenade serves up spectacular Arabian Sea views where locals and visitors stroll at sunset. When hunger strikes, you'll find upscale dining in luxury hotels serving international cuisine and refined Indian dishes. Getting around is a breeze with nearby Churchgate railway station and abundant taxis. Luxury accommodation at the Trident and Oberoi hotels cater perfectly to business travellers. The area quiets down after work hours, making evening walks along the waterfront especially pleasant.

Powai

Powai offers a refreshing lakeside escape from Mumbai's intense energy. Start your day with a peaceful stroll around scenic Powai Lake, where morning mists create a dreamy backdrop against modern high-rises. The upscale area blends natural beauty with contemporary comforts, from manicured gardens to the prestigious IIT Bombay campus that adds scholarly charm to the area. Dining options range from multi-cuisine restaurants in Galleria Mall to quality cafés tucked throughout the Hiranandani complex. Most accommodation feature luxury serviced apartments and business hotels with amenities like pools and gyms. Getting around is simple with plentiful auto-rickshaws and ride-sharing services connecting you to the city's major attractions.

Lower Parel

Lower Parel pulses with Mumbai's creative energy where old textile mills have found new life as art galleries and design studios. Shoppers flock to High Street Phoenix and Palladium malls for retail therapy, while foodies explore high-end restaurants and buzzing rooftop bars. The neighborhood's mix of industrial heritage and modern glass towers creates a fascinating urban landscape. Getting around is a breeze with two train stations connecting you to the rest of Mumbai. Weekdays bring business crowds to the corporate towers, while weekends transform the area into an entertainment hotspot. Despite limited green spaces, the neighborhood's artistic renaissance makes it worth exploring.

"I booked this hotel for my father who was returning from USA and got an onward domestic flight. I had hesitation about the hotel location and I contacted them and they explained the things clearly and that comforted me. My father is a senior citizen and I was concerned about him getting to the hotel once after claiming his luggage but the hotel staff was helpful. They gave the proper directions and in the morning they also helped him to get to the domestic airline counter. Overall they always picked up my phone and answered my question and I was impressed with the service and convenient location."
