Amazing host & lovely place 😍
What a great weekend, lovely place to stay and Tessa was the most amazing host. The only thing was it could do with an update but they are carrying out some improvements and creating more rooms in the near future. I would highly recommended a visit.

Enjoyable Stay
Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Well located for access to local attractions. Excellent breakfast. Large comfortable bed. One or two very minor niggles with the room, not enough to spoil the overall experience.

A basic English pub which offers good value for money. Room was simple but clean, had a comfortable bed, TV and kettle. The pub felt like a friendly boozer. Very nice restaurant next door and a carvery a short walk away.

Beautiful location
5-night stay as was attending a local training course, staff were very friendly, room was clean. Was used just as a place to sleep. Breakfast between 8-9am each morning, anything you like within reason. 10 min walk from 'the long walk' through Deer Park. Beautiful location.

Great place to stay
Had a great stay at Union inn,Old Windsor. Staff are friendly and helpful. Given directions into Windsor which took in a scenic walk through the Great Park. Lovely bar area . Our room was clean, larger than we were expecting and very comfortable. Was a very hot afternoon and there was a fan already on in the room . We both had the best nights sleep in ages. Bed very comfortable. Good shower, nice toiletries. Had alot planned the following day so didnt have breakfast. Would definitely return.

Great little country retreat
Lovely character pub in beautiful countryside. Very good room facilities. Complimentary bathroom items of very good quality and lots of tea and coffee sachets. Towels and bedding very good quality. Cant comment on the food as we ate at our sons house nearby but the restaurant looked very nice. The bar had good beer and G & T though !!! My only criticism was the stair and landing carpet but with covid and the finacial crisis I'm sure thay cant afford to replace it yet. We will definately stay again.

Lady let us in early to get ready for the wedding we were attending to that afternoon. Very nice of her and she was very friendly. Room was absolutely fine for the one night, had a TV, soap bits and biscuits were a nice touch. All that we needed and the bed was comfy. Only thing I’d say is that the carpet could do with being replaced, especially on the hallway stairs and the floorboards were very creaky!. But overall, a pleasant stay.

Spotlessly clean and good service. We mentioned when leaving that only 1 of 3 lights in the bathroom were working and that the bathroom would benefit from a shelf to put washbags on in preference to the floor. Hopefully these things will be followed up.

Very tired property. The carpet on the stairs leading up to the room was dirty and stained. The room itself was basic although clean. Very small room, bathroom too could do with a refurb

Brilliant host, great food, comfortable room
Absolutely perfect hosting by Tessa who runs the Union Inn. Arrived in the morning and was able to work whilst waiting for my room at 2pm. Couldn't have asked for such a wonderful host, check in was simple, the pub is really nice and overlooks some beautiful fields. Area is very quiet if you're looking for somewhere for peace and quiet. Staff are friendly as are the regulars. Room was comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities and a nice powerful shower. WiFi is a little poor in a couple of rooms but it's being sorted. Would totally recommend staying here and easily accessible to Windsor. Will be staying here again when I'm next in this part of the area.

Not a 4 star hotel: rather disappointed to be honest. Not as expected ! Our bathroom had a massive hole in the wall. Windows had no catches on. Blinds broken. I could go on. Would not recommend at all! It’s a shame as the landlady is really nice but I would avoid staying here at all costs! The corridor smelt stale . Wish we stayed somewhere else !

Friendly Staff, Good Food but Very Run Down
Friendly staff, good "pub food" but hotel is run down and needs some investment. No hot water at 7am. My husband had to shave by boiling the kettle and we couldnt shower. The cover was missing from the light switch and there was some kind of dark brown debris in the kettle which the stsff changed out without hesitation to be fair. The bed was very worn and not very confortable.

The property did not match what I thought I had booked. The photo must have been taken when it was first established. No window handles, broken inside shower door handle. Light switch fell off the wall. Carpets filthy window blinds covered in dust. Sealant around shower brown.
