Amazing location for walking to all the sites and nightlife of Athens. On a quiet street, with great service and an incredible private rooftop deck. Amazing shower! Fridge, kettle and tea and instant coffee perfect in the morning. I'll stay again next time I am in Athens!

Spent only about 5 hours there as my arrival in Athens was delayed by 1 1/2 days due to weather causing ferries not to run from Santorini to Athens. Arrived late at night and had to drag my luggage up 2 narrow winding staircases to get to my room. Not good for anyone with any physical problems.

Just an okay hotel in a great location
We stayed in the Betty Boop suite and the thing we liked about it was that the suite had some character. We also liked that it had its own private entrance. Aside from that, the room was just ok, not good but not bad either. The washroom was not the greatest - it was hard to find the right temperature while taking a shower. The wi-fi was also not very good at all. We would have wi-fi and then it would disconnect and not reconnect for hours. The area of the hotel was honestly the best part of our stay. It's about a 5-minute walk to Syntagma Square and the Plaka neighbourhood is literally right next door where it's a vibrant atmosphere.

Super short but wonderful stay
Great location in Plaka on a quiet street.
Great room with high ceilings, huge tall window.
John changed our non-refundable stay night due to horrible family emergency without any hesitation or reservation which we Obviously appreciate A LOT, left us the keys and instructions. Thank you, John!

Quirky
If you like little surprises and novel decor this place is for you! Ideal location on the edge of Plaka. Restaurants one minute walk away, but Alicia is peaceful with its own garden courtyard.

Fantastic location. Great place.
Superb location close to the Plaka , Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis itself. All comfortably within walking distance. Unusual and unique place. A basic but nice breakfast provided. My partner was ill during the night we stayed and we really appreciated the understanding and kindness shown to us in respect of this.

Quiet space walking distance to restaurants.
Small, quiet inn with a friendly staff. We didn't see or hear another guest the entire time. The included breakfast was nice, plenty to get your day going. Room was large with plenty of outlets. Bathroom was useful if odd. It's really just one large one with the shower not inclosed. Great access to tourist areas and food. We had a very late departure via ferry and they not only stored our luggage after check-out but they gave us a key to the inn incase no one was around to let us in at night!

Unique room in good location
Located at one end of the Plaka district, it is a good spot to be both close to the Plaka and the Syntagma metro stop (direct line to airport). The room itself was furnished very funky, a few repurposed items and interesting lighting. If you like a different kind of room this is for you. There is some street noise in the morning, but it was not really a problem for me, and I'm a light sleeper. WiFi was spotty.

Superb!
Love the deco here! Tastefully furnished with lots of privacy. Very welcoming staff. Felt very homely here. The only drawback is having to bring our bags up the stairs and wifi was very weak. The hotel did mention that they were having problems with the wifi and was trying to get it fixed.

Great Location
Great location. Owners/Staff were very helpful as to recommendations for restaurants, sights, etc. Location was perfect--in Plaka--old section of Athens. Within 1-2 blocks there was a lot of shopping/restaurants. Only downside was the bathroom/shower which was odd--there was not a separate shower but rather if you wanted to shower--you would pull a curtain and drain is on the bathroom floor.

Pros and Cons
The hotel itself is as per photos: tastefully funky. Don't rely on pre-ordered taxi. Room is very chilly in winter. Shower is mediocre and not much hot water. Manager/staff pretty much non-existent, which can be nice, but sucks if you have questions and the wifi isn't working (which it hardly ever does, even in the lobby). Hard to book boats / flights, restaurants, hotels, etc without wifi. Location is EXCELLENT. Defintely would have stayed longer if those Cons were addressed.
