El hotel muy bonito y acogedor, aunque están un poco viejitas las instalaciones.
La ubicación excelente, no tiene que entrar uno con carro al centro si uno no quiere. Cuenta con Parqueo.

Staff was courteous and always willing to help. Rooms were clean but lacked basic things like water bottles. Glass doors made it so that anyone passing by could look into your room when you are not there, which is not ideal.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, breakfast on the patio was quiet and peaceful
(and yummy), the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom needs some love, but overall nice hotel.

Great start to our holiday!
Delightful hotel in quiet location but within an easy 15 minute walk of the Central Park.
Arrived late but member of staff went out of his way to get us a drink and made us feel very welcome.
Room led direct onto the roof terrace where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning.
Very comfortable bed which was much needed after travelling for 14 hours from UK!

Terrible Service / Unoticed Hotel Cancellation
I went to a wedding on Antigua and it was like my 3rd stay on this Hotel. For my surprise the hotel cancelled my reservartion without even noticing me. Talked to the hotel staff and they didnt care at all. I will never going to stay there and reccomend anyone to make plans with them. At the the end i was statisfied with the expedia staff solving my problem and relocating me on another hotel.

This is a unique facility/ Each room has its own personality and beauty. The staff are always positive and helpful. If you spend more than a day or two, you will feel like family.

Nice location, good breakfast, room was in courtyard and a bit noisy and damp since there is no real window in the bathroom.
Be sure to book your own ride to airport since we were charged 40.00 dollars and much cheapter to book on your own.

Very quiet location
If you want to get away from car horns and party sounds, this is the place for you, quietly tucked away on aback alleyway. At the same time, it is a short walk to all the more active parts of festive Antigua.
The rooms have personality and warmth. The staff, despite some language difficulties, showed attentive care.
Food is scarce within the hotel. However, if you want exquisite dining in a stunning environment, walk down the street one half block to the Santo Domingo Hotel.
Cacao Boutique Hotel, unlike other larger hotels, isn't focused on making a dollar at every turn. They are fair.
I will return.

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood/great location
I thoroughly recommend Cacao Boutique Hotel! The staff members are all very friendly, accomodating, and knowledgable. The hotel's location is terrific; it is quiet and a bit off the beaten path yet close to the main square. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast is yummy! A delightful experience.

Quiet hotel near Casa Santo Domingo
The mostly bilingual staff was friendly and helpful. A day into our stay, we learned from another guest that there was free bottled filtered water in the reception area refrigerator. You need to ask for glasses since there are none in the room. The room was spacious. The fabric arm chairs were faded but adequate. The windows could use some black-out curtains to allow sleeping beyond sunrise. There were approximately 8 breakfast options. The food was good. The service was slow to average.

Nice boutique hotel
Nice, clean and spacious rooms with friendly staff and delicious typical Guatemalan breakfast options. Take the opportunity to have breakfast upstairs and soak up some of the early morning sunshine while enjoying views of the volcano. Everything in Antigua is pretty much walking distance so a couple of days here is good fun.

Web enjoyed our stay at Cacao. The hotel is charming and included a delicious breakfast during our stay. Most important, the staff is excellent. They were always going the extra mile to assist us. Will stay there again.
