We stayed in "the Conch Courtyard" and were totally charmed. The decor was lovely, the location was convenient (on Duval a very short walk to Hemingway's home and the lighthouse), we were able to step right out the door of our room to a pretty, palm-encircled courtyard pool and hot tub. A clean, friendly spot where you can bond with the local roosters and iguanas. Brandy at the front desk was helpful and warm, and it's a sweet touch to be able to order a breakfast basket to be brought to the room in the morning. Pool towels, sunscreen, bug spray, free coffee and tea, and an honor bar for snacks and other drinks. There were so many thoughtful little touches that made us wish we could stay longer. A great spot we'd definitely return to if we get the chance. There's no parking lot, but (as Brandy shared with us before we arrived) there are two options available at an easy walk and reasonable prices.

Pool and hot tub were awesome the tropical vibe was like an island paradise. The #5 room however was a bit small I would have preferred a bigger room. The toilet area was a bit too small for my liking. Maybe a different room next visit because outside of that this place is a wonderful place to visit. There really isn’t any parking on site so you have to go about a half mile down and pay $15 for unlimited time. But that was ok with us we walked and road bikes the whole time. It was great.
