Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our 5 year old who practically lived in the pool. Staff were excellent. Location was great, not too far from the airport, so quick transfer after landing, and not a far drive for shopping in Kuta and Seminyak.

Fantastic stay for families - well set up, attentive staff, incredible buffet breakfast and facilities for kids with kids club, pools and slides. Resort prices for food but all delicious and plenty of happy hour/specials to take advantage of. Chocolate hour was an insane full buffet with cakes, chocolate fountain, popcorn, fruit, candy floss and more. Our daughter had her birthday while we were here and the staff set up the most amazing room decoration and cake for her, all complimentary.
Samasta - next door has a few shops and eateries, Gaya ice cream is soooo good and we had our nails done for a good price (250k for gels). There is a free/donation Barong dance twice each evening worth watching and they got our kids up to dance with them.
Nearby - There is a walkway to get to the beach and although the sunset is nice, the beach itself is full of rubbish and dogs and we cut our feet even with sandals. Very local outside of the hotel and too busy to take kids walking on the roads but easy to fetch a car.
Overall Movenpick is a great place to stay if you plan on hanging out at a resort for a few days and just perfect for families with kids.

The housekeeping was great.
Although the staff were polite, they in many cases don’t provide 5 star service. Like trying to seat us at a dirty table that needs cleaning for breakfast with 2 young kids whilst there are many empty tables available.
The pool needs more regular cleaning, there is so many leaves, plants and flowers that make the water murky.
Great experiences became inconvenient. For example the chocolate happy hour is amazing, although ordering a chocolate milk shake takes about 20 minutes to receive, in the meantime my 6 year old daughter wanted water. I was told there was no water available. Which establishment denies water to a 6 year old?

The hotel is good but the price they put in my opinion way too expensive. I booked the hotel because it looked child friendly for my toddler son. Around swimming pool has everything you need for kids they have nice kids swimming area playground and the staff also very nice. Other then that the hotel is bit outdated and the staff not really nice to local as Indonesian guest they only nice to expatriate which is we also pay same price like them. The breakfast was ok but not amazing compare other five stars hotel in Bali to go to the beach you need o walk like 5 minute from the hotel and it’s actually public beach no bed or anything I need to bring ur own towel from the hotel overal the hotel is good but not great
