Cache Creek Cash Grab.
Unbelievable go-round with the check-in.
Booked through Expedia. Asked for a room with 2 beds. Discovered that Expedia incorrectly booked one bed. I needed two. The hotel was nearly empty, so there was no reason they couldn’t correct this on the spot. The manager kept saying there’s nothing she can do because it’s Expedia’s fault. I then said ok, you have rooms with 2 beds available. I’ll give you $20 to take care of it. She then changed her tune and said she could take care of it after all. But it would cost an extra $26(+change) per night. So I begrudgingly paid $53 extra for the 2 nights.
I told her I’d be writing a negative review and she pleaded with me not to.
I expect someone to reimburse me for this unnecessary expense and hassle.
