Staff in the restaurant and bar were exceptional. Room was great #6. However, stairs are narrow and a bit hardy to navigate. Restaurant was exceptional with a variety of selections. Stayed as a base and took day trips around the area. Parking was not good. Too small and very limited. Nearby restaurants were exceptional.

The shower didn’t work you had to manually hold it up to use it and the bath panel was broken. The blind was covered in stains. When we told the receptionist about the shower she said “that is unfortunate”

We had an amazing stay at The Sheep! The hotel staff were so kind and helpful. They assisted us with getting a cab, let us leave our bags after we checked out, and were generally very friendly. The room was perfect, clean and well appointed. The restaurant and bar had great food and were lovely to hang out in. Would highly highly recommend staying here.

Stayed in a cosy double for two nights and had a lovely time. Perfectly situated in the town within easy reach of amenities and other sights. Room was comfortable and clean. Restaurant was nice, lovely garden for drinks. Breakfast was a little lacking on the portion size. All the staff we encountered were absolutely amazing and very nice

Lovely Inn in Stow - room was in need of a bit of TLC (bath panels broken, dripping tap, light not working, cobwebs around the window) and a small/‘snug’ room BUT had all that was needed for a one night stay. Comfy bed and fresh towels - warm bathroom. Plus fantastic breakfast which was v good value for money. Parking is very handy although short on spaces. Staff were friendly and polite.
