Lovely room with lots of nice features. No lifts and was on the top floor. Reception only managed at certain times but not a problem.

The hotel, location and staff is amazing. The problem in my room (Rudolf Diesel) was that there was no door in the box of the shower, the bathroom had water spread everywhere after taking a shower. Also there is a uncovered part of the window that trow a lot of light directly in our face starting on 5AM. We had to sleep upside down to avoid that light.

Clean hotel, good location. Very challenging check-out. Due to a miscommunication I found myself unaware of their early morning exit route, instead having to exit through the basement. The manager was apologetic afterwards. The room was dark with insufficient lighting, and the bedding too small. Noise from the corridor and stairs until 1am. Hardly slept. Not great, but the location is ideal.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gelungen jedoch stehen keinerlei Parkplätze am Hotel zur Verfügung. Alles in der näheren Umgebung ist kostenpflichtig (außer Sonntags)

The check in is through the restaurant and up a few flights of spiral staircase. Staff was very quick to assist with luggage carrying. Parking is non-existent at the hotel. Not easy to find door and where to park while you check in. Restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday so we couldn’t talk to anyone face to face about our Wednesday arrival. Emailed and we received a quick and accurate response on what to do upon our arrival. Room was wonderful, clean and cozy.

Boutique Hotel in der Fußgängerzone Schorndorfs
Das Boutique Hotel ist neben dem Geburtshaus von Gottlieb Daimler. Daher das Thema der "schräg" eingerichteten Zimmer: Automobiltechnik. Wir hatten "Diesel" und "Bosch". Zur Zeit scheint es keinen Hotelempfang zu geben, da das angeschlossene Restaurant geschlossen ist, Daher bekommt man die Zimmer-Karten durch eine Code-Box beim Zugang in der Hinteren Höllgasse.

Erst am Tag unserer Anreise teilte uns das Hotel morgens ca. 9 Uhr per mail mit, das die Rezeption nur von 8-11 Uhr besetzt ist. Ebenso das Frühstück erst ab halb neun serviert wird. Darauf hin haben wir die angegebene Handynummer angerufen, kam nur die Mailbox. wir haben dann dort drauf gesprochen, dass wir Sonntags das Frühstück spätestens um 8.15 Uhr einnehmen müssten und haben um Bestätigung gebeten. Leider haben wir keine Antwort bekommen.Ebenso haben wir in unserem Zimmer auch keine Nachricht vorgefunden, ob das jetzt mit dem Frühstück klappt oder nicht. Wir sind dann Sonntag morgen um 8 Uhr in den Frühstücksraum und haben dann doch erst um halb neun frühstücken können, so dass wir sehr unter Zeitdruck standen. Wir verstehen unter Service etwas anderes. Es gab auch an der einen Bettseite keine Möglichkeit einen Wecker oder ein Buch oder sonstiges abzulegen. Zudem gab es auch nur ein Glas, obwohl 2 Personen angemeldet waren. Etwas dürftig.

Wir standen vor verschlossener Tür. Mussten erst nach der Telefonnummer suchen (kleines Kästchen neben der Hoteltür hinter dem Haus). Keine Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer war für zwei Personen zu klein. Das Doppelbett stand in einer Ecke, so das es nur von einer Seite zugänglich war. Das Frühstück war gut und variantenreich.
