We really enjoyed our stay at the Monti Palace. It was literally a four minute walk to the Colosseum and the neighborhood was quaint and nice. We walked everywhere. The front desk staff were so helpful and we would highly recommend this lovely boutique style hotel, if you want an authentic stay in Rome.

Breakfast on the top floor was excellent. Also the top floor was converted to a nice indoor/outdoor bar at night/very nice. Rooms were very small-not unusual in Europe but well appointed. TV screens were present but were just that; Screens that you could cast your own programming from your internet device to, No actual programming present. Staff friendly and helpful setting up tours etc. Not a luxury hotel but thats not what I paid for. It definitely worked and close to the important Roman ruins too.

The room was beautiful and spacious- just perfect for our family of 4. The staff was so accommodating and wonderful with every request and question. The hotel was just a short 5 min walk to the Collosseum and near lots of restaurants. I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
