Nice staff, beautiful surroundings
Despite a very late arrival, we were well taken care of by the staff and shown up to a room that had everything we needed for the night. We woke up with a view of the valley, a truly beautiful place. The only downside was the price of the breakfast, more than 20 Euros for some bread and a coffee was a bit too much, even though the coffee was excellent.

Charming hotel in the Alpes Maritime.
This is a charming family run ten- room hotel with outstanding French cuisine in their popular restaurant with outdoor terrace seating in summer and an elegant country dining room for cooler weather. Beds are comfortable, private bath with shower, WiFi, big shuttered windows provide a lovely breeze, easy free parking and the mountain view is gorgeous. Located on Route D2210, a scenic bicycle and auto road with winding roads about 10 km. from Tourettes sur Loup between Vence and Grasse. Well situated for day trips to popular Riviera sights including Nice, Antibes, St. Tropez, museums, gardens, beaches and perched villages with bus service if needed. The best things about the Auberge are the courteous, friendly staff and the exquisite cuisine with fine selection of fresh fish, meats and luscious desserts at reasonable prices.

Cozy retreat!
A cute and quaint hotel in a quiet lovely area. Tricky to get to since there is another hotel with a similar name about a 10 minute drive away. (strongly recommend GPS if driving here & specify "Gorges du loup"). Nothing special about the rooms but they are cozy and comfortable and its quiet. The restaurant here is great and a commonplace for the locals and travelers in this region. The hotel is tucked away in the mountainous region of southern france, approximately 40 minutes from beach and airports. Unfortunately, I didn't stay long enough to see the local town but it did have a small town, tourist-like charm. The rooms are very affordable for the area, especially if you want quiet nights and prefer not to stay in the high tourist regions of Nice.
