Good value hotel
Nice clean and comfortable place, good breakfast too. All staff i met were friendly and helpful. The only issue i had was the external noise, it is on a very busy road and some windows didn't quite close fully. However I would definitely stay again.

The room needs curtains as the security lights shine through the blinds all night.Also the heating cannit switch off so its very hot and the road is too noisy to have the window open. Otherwise very good value

The rooms were ok, but have obviously been refurbished with small items not finished nicely.
Room was facing the street and the blinds on the window did not not block out the light and there were no curtains.. it was quite noisy.
Bathroom was nice but shower didn't get hot all weekend.
The lady who tended to us for breakfast was lovely and friendly and our breakfast was fantastic. It must be noted this hotel is Halaal which was not stated, not a problem but some guests were upset at the offerings.
Staffing was minimal, and reception very rarely manned in case of problems or queries.

Everything was good. Except for the fact that there were only blinds and no curtains on the windows. So when the sun can game up we were up also. Good breakfast and a nice pub right down the street. I would stay again but would ask for a room with curtains

Walk into Newport to catch the tea onto Cardiff for a concert. You can see a major reverb has been done on the property. Lovely and quiet.

Shower was held by zip ties, stains on the bedding but other than that it was alright for one night. Front desk staff not too friendly, I guess it depends on who’s there

A lot of money has been spent on the hotel so you can safely ignore older reviews about the poor state of the property and furnishings.However the unfinished electrics are a bit concerning and the hotel signage needs improving - very easy to miss it.
