The owner was very obliging and friendly. I enquired about a bath/shower mat and he promptly went out and purchased a new one. We had a 4 night stay and he constantly enquired if all was well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We are planning another visit later in the year.

Nice eating pub with comfortable room. Bathroom needed some attention with mould round shower. Nowhere to sit inside the pub as a resident if not eating apart from one sofa facing a wall and two diners .. were told when we asked ‘ it is what it is’ !!

The inn was nice and cosy with great breakfast too! The night of our stay, up until after breakfast on the following day, there was no hot water. No one gave us a courtesy heads up when we checked in or offered other alternatives. WiFi in our room was not working (kept disconnecting) but worked fine at the breakfast area.
