I've stayed here several times before & had no problem but this time was so disappointing. On arriving, the staff didnt know which rooms myself and the couple in front of me were in, their computer aystem took around 15 minutes to fire up but eventually we were given our keys. Upon entering room 37 i quickly realised i couldnt stay there as there was a soaking wet bathroom floor & dripping shower, mould in the shower, no bulbs in the lamps, an open window that wouldnt close, dirt and rubbish on the carpet and 1 sachet of coffee next to the kettle with no milk etc and no towels.
I complained to the two fellas who opened up for us and, to be fair to them, they sorted me a different room which didnt have a sea view (The other one did, i paid extra for it) which was warmer and comfy with all the things i needed. However, again there were no towels (I was told they were on their way) and, in any case, despite me running the hot water on the shower for TWENTY-FIVE minutes , no hot water appeared. The sign on the door at the top of the stairs said that we should allow 5 minutes for hot water.
There was a bag of rubbish at the top of the stairs that was still there the next morning, and the Wifi didnt work.
Ill be interested in why i wasnt offered a refund OR ill be interested to see what i am offered next time i stay. Yes, its cheap, but my room was advertised with private bathroom and sea view with tea and coffee facilities and i ended up in a different room wirh no hot water
