Complained about no hot water and no o w did anyth
We never had any hot water for our shower - when we arrive, at night time or in the morning - mildly cold! There was no gym- and only had two buffets restaurants and snack bars! Way over priced for what we received! Disappointed to say the least !! Staff was courteous and kind the four pools were well maintained! The bar service was great - food was good! People friendly!

8/10 Very good

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 days 4 nights. We got the deluxe sea room, which I have to start by saying had the most BEAUTIFUL view. The room itself had a large king sized bed, a TV with a few English Chanel’s, and a nice rainfall shower. The only downside was the sink didn’t properly drain so water and debree built up during our stay. The customer service at this resort is phenomenal. When you book with Expedia, they give you a separate wristband than the other guests, and prioritize your check in and check out so you don’t have to wait in line. And they even brought a dessert up to our room for no reason, it was delicious and very kind. The servers and bartenders were so kind to us as well. 10/10. The downside to the resort was the construction going on- but it wasn’t noisy. Luckily they had barriers so you couldn’t see it much. The food at the resort was mid. The fish and ceviche was really good, and the fruit was very fresh. they did some “western” style foods which were not my cup of tea. Fries were soggy. The pasta had a weird flavour too it- but I might just not be used to Mexican dairy products. But overall decent for the price 6/10. However me and my boyfriend came late to breakfast and the staff went out of their way to cook us FRESh breakfast if whatever we wanted. Best pancakes I’ve had. 10/10 The beach out front was lovely and so was the pool! Along with the guy who runs the pool activities was AMAZING to us and super friendly. 10/10

The hotel was just right, due to, active construction on the property. However, all staff members were superb, especially at the food service areas. Also, walking outside the property is safe and plenty of restaurants nearby and a mall. It was a good stay.

6/10 Good

Travelocity needs to get updated photos for this property. It looks nothing like the photos online. The pools and beach area were very dirty. The loungers were dirty, the restaurants that were all supposed to be open, were not. Only really saw two open restaurants. One was decent but the one by the pool was questionable. The drinks were unidentifiable ask for a margarita and got mostly Fresca. All the drinks were bad so we just didn’t drink there. Breakfast buffet was good at Aquamarina. Dinner at same was good if it were Mexican food. Rooms were bare minimum but clean. A/C was questionable in some rooms and excellent in others. We had 3 rooms, one was great the other OK and the 3rd we had to go buy a fan and didn’t have a lamp. Overall I would not stay here again as this hotel is very tired. The staff on the other hand was very accommodating and courteous as all Mexican nationals are and which is why I enjoy going to Mexico. Also, the river was next to the hotel. So when it rained in the mountains, the water looked like chocolate in the bay right in front of hotel. It took a couple days to get back to normal. This couldn’t be helped but do not recommend staying at a hotel where the river is close. This was my first trip to Puerto Vallarta, this has not deterred me from coming back. I would just need to choose a newer and all adult hotel closer to if not in Zona Romantica. But I heard there’s a river down that way too but we didn’t see any brown water that way.
