Good room but very dark
The apartments were easy to find and once we had sussed out the Pockit Pass system access was good. The interior is very dark - black walls in the communal stairwell. Our room had purple walls AND ceiling and dark green curtains and then dark kitchen cupboard doors. It all felt very oppressive. The room was adequate, with a good kitchen area and lovely shower room and for the price we would use this again but maybe specify no purple, or bring head torches

Great self contained apartment
Second time staying here. You need to pay your deposit and download an app for electronic check in. Can get a bit confusing but we're OK with it now. Property is self contained and an Aldi to the road for supplies. It was hot and a fan was provided. Thank you

The property was easy to locate and walkable. Has good shops around and easy access to the city center. However, the property was not clean. I had to get cleaning supplies, my own bedsheet and pillow cases before I could sleep. Even down to the cutlery, there was jam on a knife from a previous occupant. Nice property but they need to work on cleanliness. Also, they need to clearly state that you’ll be paying a damage deposit in their description.

I never want to give negative feedback but I have to say truth.
It’s nice apartment new but bedsheet it was not changed was full of hairs and stain marks, side table not wiped and wi-if was not working!

Not good
We stayed for a couple of nights. The first night was awful. The walls are paper thin the room next to us we could hear music and everything word for word. Messaged sky city apartments they couldn’t do anything about it and this was 22:30. There was also construction work going on outside which we didn’t know about until we got there so it wasn’t a good experience. It wasn’t that clean there was an old shower gel bottle on the floor. The tv was good and the use of facilities but overall safe to say not happy with the visit definitely not worth the money and won’t stay again.

The apartment was great. The only thing that could be improved were to warn at booking time that the digital key would not be "released" until you paid a damage deposit of £100 which required a lot of stress when you just want to get access to the property. I was very close to reporting the property as a scam and re-booking because the key did not come into the app. It was only when I saw an email from the apartment that I found out the need to pay the damage deposit for the key to then be released.

No toilet roll had to go over the road and buy my own.

Main entrance door slamming for 12 hours throughout the night and being located right next to it was not ideal.
Walls marked and stained throughout the room.
Front entrance fire door self closer not working correctly, fire and safety risk.
Other rooms showering throughout the night, and with no insulation around the soil pipe. All you can hear is the water splattering inside the pipe.

The accomodation is conveniently located for all activities around Coventry, and home away from home. Once you’ve stayed once, it becomes first choice. They could however improve services for guests staying up to a week, by cleaning, changing sheets, and supply of toilet paper at least every 2-3 days.

Hassled Business Trip
The checking in process was not for me, downloading apps, pass keys etc, and it was just noisy.... The shower was great the amenities were great the bed was great, still haven't received my damage deposit back after 2 weeks which is just rubbish!! When you stay overnight on a business trip you don't want hassle, unfortunately Sky City is a hassle.

The property was fine. The room temperature could not be adjusted, and the weather was very hot; we did not like sleeping with the windows open, as we were on the ground floor. This made our sleep uncomfortable. Everything else was great, and it suited our short stay needs.

Pathetic experience
It was just very uncomfortable, very noisy, no air in the room at all. It was 27c temp in the room and not changing at all.
Then fire alarm rang quite early in the morning.
Could not sleep or relax at all.

Nice place but a headache to book.
Once I booked with Hotels.com I received a separate email saying I had to pay a £100 deposit which wasn’t stated anywhere, then had to download an app to get the key to the room. The room was clean and tidy but there was broken glass on the floor of which I cut my foot, not great! The Tv didn’t work so I couldn’t watch anything. After my stay I didn’t receive my deposit back until I had to email the company to request it back. When I received my deposit I received £91 back with no explanation as to where £9 has gone? For a one night stay it was more headache then it’s worth. Either explain the process before booking or make the process easier.

Both rooms were very cold and I messaged the number I had and explained that the thermostat wasn’t working and they had capped it.
So they sapd they would increase the temperature which I found I was like in a cell.

Great apartment - shame about the temperature
Lovely clean apartment that looks really impressive and modern. Unfortunately the temperature was set to 25 degrees and we were unable to change this, whilst trying to get ready for a formal event. It was rather uncomfortable putting a suit on in 25 degree heat!!!

Good value for family of couple
The studio has many facilities which I felt would benefit couples/families more.
The check in process was rather complex. I was expecting a text message regarding the deposit but it came through in the app and I wasn’t notified through email like the initial message.
This has caused some hiccups on the check in process. After checking out, the deposit was not returned until I chased for it.

Use a hotel instead
I would not recommend this for an extended stay. The furniture is ok and not as pictured. there is no wardrobe to store clothing, a rack but you can't properly hang clothing as the hangers do not come off. Towels/linen are poor quality and no real way to ask for fresh linens/housekeeping. not enough kitchen towels to use to clean up.
It did have a fantastic shower! However, if you are a female, there is only one mirror in the entire place and no full length mirror. also the bathroom did not have a plug, so you must dry your hair elsewhere... for use, it was the kitchen...
