Doubletree, trouble! Don't stay.
We got to hotel, unpacked what we needed for the night and we were freezing. We fiddled with the thermostat but after 20 minutes no results. We called for the engineer. He never came. Half hour later we called again. He finally came, fiddled with it and said he had to see another call down the hall from us and would return. We overheard they didn't have heat. Half hour passed. We packed our stuff and went downstairs to ask for a room change. Much grumbling from the desk clerk. She called her supervisor and said many people calling about the heat. She gave us a room we went up there and guess what- no heat.We waited and waited until I had it with Doubletree You see the only one who could do the refund was on a break. A break is priority over helping a customer. The engineer comes back to the desk and says he can't get the boiler to work. Soon enough the whole hotel would be freezing.
Finally some nice guy Raymond shows up and initiated the refund. He even had the shuttle take us over. This debacle took three hours!
