We stayed here for one Night on the way to visit family in Suffolk. Great little place, room was very clean, food in the bar was great with very friendly locals to chat to. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great value with full English/continental breakfast included with the price. Would not hesitate to stay again.

3rd visit in two years, love this place. Lovely comfortable rooms with great mattresses and bathrooms. Brilliant food and a broad selection of local beers in a great location especially if you want to take an electric boat out on the broads for a few hours.

Nice hotel in lovely location
A nice hotel and in a lovely location. The breakfast was good and the service was friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced. The hotel was very dog friendly but the stairs were very steep (it's an old building) so I had to carry my dog up and and down the stairs (and he's not a small dog). This couldn't be helped by the hotel but I wouldn't stay there again if I had my dog with me.

Amazing hosts! Such a friendly place, had an event on for one of the staff and they welcomed us in like we were part of the community. The room (room 3) was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Lovely surroundings. Top quality cosy hotel! I highly recommend!

Lovely and popular.
The property is being done up atm. So it's slowly looking better every month. A few cob webs about on the windows but remaining of the room was clean. Lovely location and lovely staff. As for the food its fantastic. We will return for hopefully a meal when we are on a boat next month.

Our room was a little careworn. But enough of the negatives.
The main building and the location were super. The staff were fantastic. An absolute delight. They were worth the stay alone. We had a family dinner one evening which was very good. Our room was as mentioned before, a little "tired" but spotlessly clean and fine for our three night stay. Breakfast was super; just the thing to start the day, BUT, please get an expresso machine for when we stay again.

Lovely people, very friendly, made us most welcome. They are trying to build this hotel up, lots of Refurb work but this didn’t affect the service, the food or the drink that was served to us overall we had a great weekend and we definitely go back again
