A great place to stay, we used it for an overnight to watch a band at the AO arena in Manchester.
Plenty of parking space and the rooms are comfortable, nice bed and great shower.
Don't expect luxury here but it does the job well for the price point.
All staff we interacted with were very nice, we had lunch and breakfast here and both were good.
Overall, highly recommended and we'll be back.

Some great staff. Shout out to Kaye who was looking after our room, nothing was too much trouble. There was a great young lady served us in the bar who helped made our stay an enjoyable one. I didn’t get her name unfortunately but she has a great singing voice.

Having stayed at other JW Lees properties, I was a little disappointed by my stay at the Boat House. The accommodation felt like a rundown Premier Inn and my room needed some attention. The toilet bowl was damaged and the bathroom just didn't feel clean.
The restaurant lacked any flair and the staff just delivered food with no interest. Breakfast was poor quality which surprised me as I would have expected a higher standard (through prior experiences).
Perhaps my expectations of the Boat and Horses was unfairly higher but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Perfect location for travelling into Manchester city centre - would definitely recommend

The family room was good, well equipped. Close location to M60. Buffet breakfast was really good. Overnight stay for concert at Co-op Live & only 15mins away by taxi.
