Clean, comfortable bed, nice staff, easy parking. Very noisy floorboards in my room (1) and from 7 am on my corridor and nearby rooms. A bit dated but had a great sleep.

The staff were lovely and really helpful. The room we were booked into had a problem with the heating and, after trying to fix the problem which unfortunately didn’t work, we were moved to another room which was perfect. Food in the evening was very good.

It’s an old building and tired in places. The floors are uneven and floors creek, but rooms were clean and beds were comfy. It’s what I expected for the price.

Brilliant
I love the George in Huntingdon and have visited many times over the years and including for RAF Reunions. This time I was moving home to Scotland and stayed for a couple of nights. All staff welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Cannot praise high enough. Thank you.

As soon as we walked in the front door wanted to leave,there was scaffolding all up the stairs and when we got to our room it was unreal the floor was not safe for older people it was like it had a hill in the middle. They shouldnt be letting rooms at the prices they are asking when in the middle of a major refurbishment and the breakfast wasnt worth the £12.50 they charged could av got better just up the road at weatherspoons for half the price.i would recommend steering clear till all the works have been done .

The staff were really friendly & helpful from check in to check out. However bedrooms & particularly the bathrooms needed refurbishment. Corridors to the rooms were narrow and the stairs uneven, could be tricky for older guests. No TV available other than in bedrooms to watch the rugby international, disappointing for the males in our party.

Traditional but a little tired
Very helpful and friendly staff. Room a little tired, overlooking a courtyard which was attractive but may have been irritating if people were talking while having drinks/smoking immediately outside the bedroom window. Had a meal which was very good. Bathroom was a little on the small side with a low ceiling so not great standing in the bath for a shower.

Hotel was lovely and room was great, no complaints there. My issue lies with the car park! I gave my number plate, make and model to the hotel when checking in however I have just received a PCN saying I had not paid for the carpark! I clearly was a guest there and given my details so this is why my overall rating is 2. Be careful of the car park!

COULD DO BETTER.
A little disappointing, I have stayed here before and the décor etc looked tired, strips of wallpaper above bed torn, couldn't open window on a warm night, for instance. To be fair, excellent location, room was basic (no toiletries for example) but clean and tidy, staff were friendly and breakfast excellent. My overall opinion was a little over priced for what was on offer.
