Lovely stay
Lovely stay at the Princess Royal - very comfy, quiet and very impressed generally with facilities and friendliness of staff. Had dinner in the pub and that was also very tasty.

Best hotel B&B! Extended our stay another night!
The Princess Royal is quite possibly my new favorite hotel bed and breakfast. The accommodations were beyond excellent. The room had air conditioning to beat the summer heat and was very comfortable and relaxing to stay in. We ended up booking a 2nd night because we were so pleased with our stay during the first night. The breakfast was great. They had a continental-style option to start and then a menu to order a fairly wide set of filling options, all included in the very reasonable rate. The staff were excellent, personable, and always looking to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Supper was extremely tasty and the pub food offerings generous in portion and flavor. I wish we had places like this in the States.

Great for a short stay
Lovely room, we had bedroom, living room and large bathroom. We did have an issue on the second night, we arrived back at the hotel just after midnight, the electronic entry card was not working so we could not enter the hotel.
They have an emergency out of hours number, I dialled it a number of times, only to go to answer phone.
We waited in the car, luckily a member of staff appeared and let us in.
that said, I would recommend this establishment, food and service of the best quality.

It is very difficult to fault this hotel, they do everything very well. I stayed for 3 nights and it was excellent

Nice and Cosy
The facility was great, neat and comfy. My room was very spacious and well-maintained. There was some rattling on the corridor floor. The location is secure and quiet but the car park was pretty busy.

The perfect treat night location -indigent suite
Omg the indulgence suite is named well! I treated myself to a night on my own and it was pure heaven. The food was great, the staff very friendly smily and helpful and the suite was AMAZING.
The bed !!! Wow -was the best nights sleep I’ve ever had and the bath..Omg-the bath 👌 👌 I booked it for the bath especially and it did not disappoint!
I cannot recommend this place highly enough and ladies treat yourself with or without a partner!!
Seriously considering booking every couple of months for some ‘me time’ luxury.

Very good stay
Very good stay. Rooms very well equipped and everything worked as it should. Rooms in a separate building to the inn with its own car park next to the entrance so very easy to transfer luggage. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant also up to expectations.
