Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff went above and beyond, and the property is beautiful! We booked a room with a canal view and so glad we did! The concierge booked a private water taxi for us to get to the airport - one of the highlights of the trip! I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return very soon!

Hotel San Marco is actually a bit far from the center, but it’s located in a much quieter area, which makes it far more comfortable. If you like, they can call a private water taxi for you right in front of the hotel. The staff, including the gentleman and lady at reception, are incredibly helpful and very kind with everything you need. The rooms are comfortable, and overall, it was a lovely experience.

The food was fantastic and the quality of the hotel interiors and rooms exceptional, with special attention to details that other hotels often miss or get wrong. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Venice.

Exceptional, have been to Venice several times this will always be home in beautiful Venice. Loved it, arrived on train from Florence and a short walk to hotel. Breakfast a la carte was awesome and fits the romantic charm.

Beautiful hotel, a nice distance away from the crowds of St. Marks. Nice staff, with a special shout out to manager Gianluigi who resolved a hefty additional surchage fee due to my booking error. My room was huge, facing the canal, breakfast buffet was great and you could order additional items if desired. Highly recommend.

Really easy to get to from Venice train station and transit hub, free drinks upon arrival, nearby several restaurants with a fantastic one right in the hotel, and they helped book me a private water taxi at 3 am for my early morning flight. super fancy hotel rooms with significant attention to detail. Definitely coming back.

Superb, well appointed luxury hotel just away from the madding crowds. Our room had a canal view and yes the boats can make a noise from quite early but it's part of the Venetian charm! Very comfortable room with sizeable bathroom and comfy bed. Staff are very very helpful and always smiling. Fully recommend taking the breakfast option - sets you up for the day.

What a delightful palazzo to stay in! Not only were the rooms immaculate (we stayed in the Deluxe Suite), but the artistic design evident everywhere was impressive! The suite was spacious with stunning art on the walls and ceiling.
The location is perfect, with wonderful views, walkable to everywhere you'd want to go, and the staff are friendly and helpful! Close to public transportation (water buses/vaporettos) and shopping/restaurants, they also arranged a tour of the Murano glass factory with private transportation to and from the island.
A lovely and wonderful experience. 5-stars indeed!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Definitely a 5* experience. Lovely staff, great decor, unique room (we were in superior double). Good location. Fantastic breakfast - I had a omelette and it was the best out of all places we have stayed on holiday.

Newly renovated rooms, big marple bathroom, good matresses, nice furnitures. The breakfast buffet is imppressive, the food varity and freshness is extraordinary. Very friendly and supporttive stuff. The associated Dama Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff, especially the man with glasses, was rude and dismissive. He made me feel unwelcome, and I couldn’t help but feel his attitude was influenced by either my being a solo female traveler or my appearance. Every time I asked for help, he was unresponsive and unhelpful.
The room was small, uncomfortable, and excessively warm. When I asked to lower the air conditioning, he only adjusted it by 1°, which did nothing. The bed was uncomfortable, and the overall room quality did not justify the price.
On my last day, after having my luggage held, I returned and sat in the lobby to wait for my train. The same staff member asked if I needed my bags, acting as if I didn’t belong there. He didn’t offer any hospitality, and I was left feeling uncomfortable. I moved to another part of the hotel to avoid further interaction.
Breakfast was poorly managed—half an hour after the scheduled time, the buffet wasn’t ready, and there was no to-go option, unlike other hotels I stayed at in Italy.
While the restaurant staff was friendly, the poor service and uncomfortable accommodations made this hotel the worst experience of my trip. I would not recommend it to anyone and will not return.
