For travellers interested in experiencing the "Real Cuba" this property is in the midst of a neighborhood away from tourist sites and other tourists. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the property is safe, clean, and newly renovated. There are a large number of potted plants throughout and a place to sit outside and enjoy the Cuban sun. Unfortunately for me it rained most days that I stayed there. Abundant cold and clean drinking water is available for guests but there are no dining facilities available onsite. The only restaurants nearby cater to Cuban people which, sadly, means that the food they sell is subpar. In fairness the hotel can't be blamed for that. For US$15 per night Salud 215 offers solid value.

Habitaciones super limpias, aire acondicionado, TV grande, nevera. Camas muy cómodas. Perfecta ubicación en el centro de La Habana, cerca de tiendas, restaurantes, cafeterías y un ambiente único. Servicio de alto nivel, propietarios maravillosos. En definitiva me sentí como en casa y mejor aún, se lo recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera visitar La Habana y sentirse muy cómodo.

Conforto e limpeza
Antes mesmo de viajar, já sabia que minha experiência neste Hostel seria muito boa. A proprietária me ajudou com muitas informações que eu estava preocupada, moeda, trajeto do aeroporto etc. Já em solo cubano me orientou diversas vezes. O Hostel é muito confortável, limpo e bonito. A casa tem um ambiente familiar que nos dá tranquilidade e segurança. Pode-se chegar aos lugares turísticos caminhando. Fiquei hospedada duas vezes em diferentes quartos, ambos muito bons.

Fine stay, very cheap
Very fine compared to the price. It’s approx. 15 minutes walk from Old Havana. In this area we didn’t want to go out at night, but in the daytime everything was fine.. Extremely nice host. She tried to help us with everything. We slept well. The room was fine. The water didn’t have that much pressure.. Can recommend this casa because of the cheap price. General remark: Remember to bring Euro or USD when traveling to Cuba.
