We really liked the location of this hotel because it put us super close to the Altstadt. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. Breakfast was a little higher than average but worth the money. The front desk gave Origami packs to our kids.

Our family of four stayed just one night in this hotel before continuing our holiday, travelling through Germany. Nice hotel at the top of the hill steep climb back or stairs,taxi from town 15euro. PutTrajanstrasse inthe satnav for the car park, or you will miss it in the one way,go down to the second level, you will see the signs for the lift

Great staff and lovely hotel!

We had a great stay with such friendly and helpful people. They went out of their way to make sure that our room was ready early, which was so kind. We needed it early to make it to a wedding. Very professional and nice. It's within walking distance from the train station and downtown. We loved their pool/sauna area. Our only mild complaint was that the pool is quite small and the hot tub was not working. We would still highly recommend Novotel!

Great location and friendly service

The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes’ walk from the train station and 15 minutes to the city centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful and tolerated my rusty German (they offered to switch to English but I like to practice). Fitness centre is basic and the room decor is a bit worn but everything works. Excellent breakfast buffet.
