We stayed at the KL Shanghai La for 5 nights in December 2025. From the first moment arriving until we left we cannot express how wonderful the experience was. The staff are exceptional, they can not do enough for you. The room was spacious and well appointed. It was beautifully clean and the day service was first class.
We ate at the Lemon Garden on the weekend. The seafood buffet was one of the highlights of our Asian tour

Great room and wonderful service. We paid for an upgrade to the horizon suite (no complimentary upgrade) and had the most lovely time.
The horizon club was also excellent with cocktail hour and afternoon tea. The hotel breakfast was varied and delicious.

As you would expect lovely hotel. We upgraded to the horizon and made use of the lounge extensively. The staff at the club were so nice. Room was amongst the best I've stayed in. Breakfast is amazing with huge choice - chinese/indian/western choices. Healthy choices. Hotel is a short 7 minute walk to the Petronas towers and fountains. If you are travel weary and want some luxury stay here to recharge.

Amazing return to KL
Back in KL after 5 years and it was even better than we remember it… especially the set up and service from the staff at the Shangri-La.
From the very moment we walked in and all through our stay the staff were brilliant, especially towards our kids who absolutely loved every moment.
Little extra touches like cake and balloons for my wife’s birthday made it even better.
We’ll definitely be back here for our trip next October!
