I've stayed at Hotel Edison many times and have never been disappointed. The location is perfect. Two amazing restaurants onsite. Close to Broadway shows and tourist sites. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. And if you're a woman traveling alone and wanting extra security, everyone must 1) show a room key to access the elevators, and 2) use your card in the elevator to access your floor. The mini-suite I stayed in this stay was awesome!

The only hotel that our family will stay at in NYC. We came in late from a long day of travel and both David and Angelique went above and beyond to make us comfortable in our rooms with their friendly and welcoming personalities as they checked us in. And lovely Mohammed visiting us after our check in to make sure all was well. The personal attention and warmth that this hotel is second to none and our family is beyond grateful for the excellent service, stay and experience. Stayed here for 7 nights in September 2026. Prestige room. Service was excellent, common areas are attractive, gym is poorly equipped. The disappointing experience was finding a ball of hair in the shower on arrival, the bathroom was extremely small, you can only stand with no room to move and almost no shelf space. Broken blinds, AC had to be repaired. For $500/night and 4 stars this was disappointing.
