We were a little worried about going to Rio with some of the advisories, but we had an amazing trip. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, the dining and shopping amazing and the beaches unparalleled. My husband even forgot his phone in a cab and it was returned within the hour! Went to a fotbol game and the experience was awesome. We would highly recommend Rio and the Fairmont.

The hotel was quite nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the spa. However, it’s overpriced. At this price range, I expected more in terms of service and food quality. The breakfast is quite limited, and the food all around the hotel is poor compared to the price you pay. There was also a bad smell in the room, and the room is quite noisy. When we complained, they came and sprained the room and that was it, but the smell remained All in all, the hotel is not bad and we had a nice time, but I doubt I will return at this price point.

I had the best time ever with my dad, they treated us in a very special way and made our stay very memorable.
