Sound if you're not in a rush!
All very reasonable price wise, all I'd mention is the glass bottled [tap?] water in the room, at room temperature inevitably by the time of my arrival with a fairly pointless empty ice bucket. As I'm not Madonna, I'm unlikely to call room service for some ice, much more likely to just run the tap for a minute to get a cold glass of water. Would have preferred a kettle and tea/coffee etc. Service a little slow at check in and out and it's a bit of a ball ache traipsing back outside and around the block to display a permit on the car. Surely it would be simpler to leave your reg. number with reception to enable any parking attendant to cross check for guest or other authorised vehicles? Service at breakfast a little slow considering it was 7.30 am on a Tuesday in January it was far from busy in the restaurant. As I had a meeting to get to at 9am in Colwyn Bay by the time I'd managed to order and eat I was rushing a bit with the checkout time etc. All minor issues really I would probably stay again.

A poor show and poor thinking
We arrived and checked in OK. We had been told that tonight was to be the staff party and the restaurant was closed. Not good when you’re with an 85 years old who has limited mobility. You would think that such a scenario would engender a generosity of thinking which would say “hey we know there’s some inconvenience so we’re going to upgrade you”. Yes? No. We were on the 3rd floor in a small room, so hot we had to sleep with the window open. The bed was so hard I’d have been More comfortable sleeping on the kitchen table. So although the hotel is rated 4 stars, the management thinking is only 2

Parking issue
Good central location. Breakfast very good..parking? Having looked on a few diffrent sites and saw parking free..and to get to the hotel and to b told oh..small amount of parking spaces at the hotel and first come first gets...but if you go out of the hotel and turn this way or thst..there is a londis store with parking!!!! If not u will.just have to ride round until u find a space on the road side...Really........ Having driven a fair way. I wud hav booked else were if i had known before hand...although our friends arrieved at 11.30 and booked in prior to the 2 oclock stated...and they still did not get any i think on numerous sites the parking needs stipulating...more accuratley..once we found a parking place.. the rest of the stay was enjoyable

A lovely stay
We have waited quite a while to find the opportunity to stay at this hotel. We stayed with family. A lovely hotel very festivly decorated. Both rooms good, one a family room the other which we stayed in was a double. Both very very clean, room 102 however, have to say the bathroom was very chilly, the temp outside was cold, but apart from a heated towel rail there was no heating, the bathroom was very large with fantastic facilities. However, never really got to linger in the bath as it was chilly. Staff lovely, very helpful as we had a young Baby with us. We ate in the restaurant this was good, but food could have been hotter. Breakfast was delightful. The setting very grand. Would stay again, but in the summer.
