This was one of the best and elegant hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff were always helpful and pleasant. The cleaning was immaculate - the staff out small towels under our amenities and attended our room several times a day. The welcome treats were delicious. The breakfast food at the restaurant was sublime and far beyond standard breakfast fare - even at nice hotels. It rained a lot while we were there and it was nice to have a solid umbrella in the room to use as we braved the windy rainy London. The only thing missing was a cozy fireplace in the room.

The hotel was luxurious and very pleasant to stay. There were some quirks with a lavatory with a violent sounding flush and the restaurant being predominantly gluten free but the room’s hand wash, body wash and conditioner all containing wheat protein.

One Aldwych is an exceptional hotel; the location is right in the heart of London, the room and amenities are luxurious, and the staff is impeccable. Breakfast was both delicious and beautifully served. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. One Aldwych is the Mary Poppins of London hotels: practically perfect in every way!
