We stayed for 4 nights at the Aksara. It is well located in the old town. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and quickly checked into our room. The hotel is stunning. A modernised hotel with a nod to the history of the region. Well air conditioned, rooms are spacious and well equipped. Amazing pool area. Staff are attentive and welcoming. A charming hotel in the historical district
A super hotel in the heart of the old town. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. It has a great heritage vibe with a lush pool area. The food at the restaurant is highly recommended. We first found Aksara by stopping in for lunch in Feb 2023 and I was delighted to get a chance to stay there on this visit.

One of trip highlights!
I stayed here with a friend for 4 nights. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of excursions and exploring Chiang Mai. The staff were so kind and attentive, and the room was always clean and comfortable. The staff helped us by holding our luggage when we arrived early and before our flight, and made great thai massage and restaurant recommendations. The hotel pool is a lovely oasis and the breakfast buffet had many great options of fresh local fruit, thai cuisine and western options. One of my favorite hitel stays ever, I will recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Love this little hotel with great character. The decoration is tasteful, the breakfast is one of the most delish I have had, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. Location wise it is close to one of the gates in the old city, and the Sunday market is right on the street in front of hotel. Can’t be more convenient than that!
