My rating is based partially on the price point. I did have the room next to the restaurant, so there was a certain amount of noice, but nothing too bad (and noise bothers me more than most. There was a white noise machine in the closet, so that did the trick. It took me a minute to realize that the AC was a window unit, and the view from the window was to a side walk where the restaurant guys were working, so I kept the curtains closed. I was there for work, so I didn't need a view.
What wowed me about the hotel and made it me new regular place to stay for work was the location and the bed. It is close to Rodeo Dr, tons of shops and restaurants, a Whole Foods, another grocery store and a Starbucks. I didn't have to Uber anywhere. The bed was clean, huge, supportive, and inviting. It was a great place to end the day. The bathroom did have the concrete finish, which made it hard to know how clean it was. It did appear to be clean overall, but I wear shower flip flops anyway.
Another huge plus was the staff. They were super friendly, I mean like they genuinely want everyone to enjoy their stay. There is also a restaurant on site, although I didn't have time to try it on this trip. It did seem to bee upper scale and looked delightful. Overall, this stay was better than any other hotels in the area, because the others that stand out for customer service are not in such a great location.
