Unhelpful
We’ve stayed there twice before and never had a problem however this time I’ve been charged twice for breakfast. I noticed this and went down to reception and spoke to the receptionist who was helpful but needed assistance from the night Manager who couldn’t have been more unhelpful. When I asked him why I’d been charged again £64.70 he just fobed me off saying he had to go as he was busy. I explained that I had checked with my bank and that I would like an explanation but I got no response and again he told me he had to go. Because of this I don’t think we will be staying there again.

Fair
Having checked in on the 1st floor reception with our heavy cases, we then had to go back down and carry them across the stadium entrance area in the rain to another building, so not a good arrival experience. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. Negatives are that the pillows are really uncomfortable (we both woke with stiff necks), and recommend you do not leave the window open as it was quite noisy.

We have stayed here many times. On this occasion we had the misfortune to be in a room beside noisy students. They were roaring screaming running up and down the corridor banging on the door, sometimes with large numbers accumulating in the room…until after 1 am two nights running. Love the hotel, I guess we were unlucky this time
