Room was exceptionally clean and had three large fans which was nice in this heatwave. The building is old, so signs of age are accepted. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, but the shower curtain smelt awful-even though it looked clean. Had no time to request staff to change it, but it wouldn’t put me off staying there again. Really friendly welcome from Reception, and we were given a larger room than we had booked, which was absolutely lovely. Hotel is in a very quiet street so no outside noise at all. We were short of time at breakfast and the staff were so helpful, making sure we were looked after really quickly. All staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, we would definitely return. Thank you!

Only stayed for one night but could definitely have stayed for longer. Hitek is clean, with very friendly & helpful staff (reception ladies, forgot their names but were lovely and happy, big beautiful smiles) Easy check in &out. Close to various amenities like the underground, which takes you to key places within 30 mins, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, hair&nail salon all within walking distance, a bit dated and no lifts (bit difficult if you carry big and heavy luggage) but charming and a good value for money. Overall I enjoyed it so I would highly recommend. Thank you SCH ♡

This is a lovely hotel with a cozy and homy feeling. The building is quite dated but for me that added to the charm. The only problem is you get some noise from other rooms due to the old age of the building. The location is absolutely amazing. You are in one of the best neighbourhoods and steps from bus, subway, and many shops and restaurants. Overall, I will definitely stay here but will remember to pack earplugs.

Plus points: friendly staff, good location, big room. But: really needs redecorating - chipped and heavily marked woodwork, damp stain on the wallpaper, net curtain dirty and torn. Floorboards creaky, to the point we were woken up by guests walking around on the floor above us. It could be a lovely hotel but as it is, we wouldn't stay there again.
