An Impeccable and Majestic setting in Busy London!
When we arrived at the Majestic gates of the Rosewood hotel where we where greeted by about 5 concierges waiting to open our taxi door and take our luggage. We felt like royalty as we where escorted thru the lobby and taken care of promptly(we where also greeted by the fabulous Ms. Pearl the resident Golden Retriever & hostess). Our check-in was not to be until 3pm and it was 10am and they still accommodated us which we appreciated greatly since we where exhausted! We where quickly escorted to what turned out to be a very comfortable and quiet room during our stay. After some relaxation in the room, we decided to try out the Holborn Dining Room which is a brasserie that is part of the hotel. The mixologist proceeds to make us a delicious tinto sour which became our favorite drink of this particular trip! We also tried out Scarfes bar which is also attached to the hotel and is a very popular & posh London hangout. We frequented both Holborn Dining Room & Scarfes several times during our stay as we just loved the atmosphere and excellent drinks and charcuterie. One of my favorite places within the hotel was the Mirror Room which has the most amazing breakfast and service I think I have ever had. The French Gentleman who took care of us both mornings was superb! I wish I could remember his name. I would advise anyone looking to stay here to google all three restaurants and you will see why they all have excellent reviews. Needless to say we shall return to the Rosewood soon!

An Amazing London Hotel That Ranks In My Top 5
I rarely get this excited to write a hotel review (and I like to write) but the staff at Rosewood London deserve a passionate post. After I booked online, I received a pre-stay questionnaire which I completed. I was pleasantly surprised how helpful the survey process was to plan a perfect stay in London. The hotel staff booked restaurants and spa appointments for my wife and I, in advance. Their recommendations were amazing; two perfect dinners in London. The hotel has ample staff who are ready to serve you. The concierge staff were delightful and well connected. The room was clean, wonderfully quiet, spacious, well designed, and filled with amenities. I loved that the room had a Nespresso coffee maker, stocked refrigerator, ample bottles of water, multiple electric connections (UK, US, and EU), fast WiFi, a safe, large TV, room darkening shades, soaking tub, and extra bath linens. Breakfast was included in my room rate and the food was delicious. The Spa staff were professional and cheery; it was clear that they liked their jobs. I travel 200+ days a year and this was a perfect way to end the year. I would highly recommend Rosewood London to anyone who wants a memorable, pampered, first-class experience.

Another great experience
We (family of four) have stayed at the Rosewood London for a few times before and have always enjoyed the hotel facilities and service very much. I'm happy to say this time was no exception. If anything the service was better than ever. The doormen were very friendly and helpful, especially when we asked them at checkout to arrange for a taxi to take us to the airport at 17:00 - when we came back at 16:40 to use the restroom and wait for the taxi we found a taxi waiting for us already, loaded with our bags and some water and snacks to go. Great service. We also enjoyed the breakfast (included) although we were slightly surprised that we were not able to have breakfast in the Mirror Room restaurant since they have now restricted this to the premium room categories. The breakfast in the Holborn Dining Room is really great, but does not include a buffet. We stayed in the Executive Family room, which is perfect for our family with two children. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms we have stayed in have always been very quiet so you can enjoy a good nights sleep. Front desk was also super helpful in satisfying our requests prior to arrival and always greeted us with a smile. For our girls meeting Pearl the hotel dog is always a highlight and although she understandably gets tired sometimes from all the attention we got to meet her a few times this time as well. Overall we left with a fond feeling for the hotel and will return again for a christmas visit!

Elegant Hotel, close to the 'Tube'
The Rosewood takes your breath away as you come under its arched entryway off the street and into its car courtyard. The historic building is stunning with its high stone walls and early-period architecture. Check-in was a breeze with Daniel who kindly welcomed us and walked us up to our room. Along the walk he gave us a brief history of the building and pointed out the amenities of the hotel: bar, restaurant, fitness center, and spa. The room was clean, large, and well appointed. The furniture/beds were comfortable with thick comforters and soft linens. Minibar was well stocked and a complimentary Nespresso coffee machine in the room was well used by us for morning wake ups and late evening wind downs. Bathroom had a large, deep tub and a separate shower. The strong water pressure in the shower is worth mentioning. It felt amazing after long cold days of walking around London. Housekeeping was attentive and the room was reset each day without flaw. I must also mention the spa. I did not have a treatment, but the use of the locker room facility is complimentary to guests. This includes a locker with towel, robe, and slippers. Each locker room has a sensory shower, steam room, and dry sauna. There is also a coed lounge with lounge chairs, dim lighting, meditative music, infused water, and fruit & nut snacks. I really enjoyed this space and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fair 4.0
I've stayed a various 5 star hotels around the world, and this hotel is not up to par. I booked one the Executive King rooms for our stay and it was terrible. The rooms come with a makeup table and this is the only place you can use the hair dryer (cannot use it in the bathroom) and THERE IS NO MIRROR. How are you suppose to style your hair without a mirror?!? The makeup table is also child's height which makes it awfully uncomfortable. When I raised my concerns with the hotel staff, I was told they would resolve the issue by bringing a mirror to place on the table. Well, they NEVER did!! The bathroom situation is also awkward. The room has a tub/shower combo. The tub comes with a half size glass panel, leaving the floor to be soaked after every shower. Then tub height is very high making it difficult to get in and out of when the tub and ground is soaking wet. I almost slipped a few times. There is a table in the room, but it only comes with one chair, so in room dining was a joy! When you pay $500 + a night you expect more! I could paid a lot less and actually received a functional room! I don't know what they were thinking when they designed these rooms.
