Well located hotel with efficient and friendly staff. The bar and restaurant area are well kept however the rooms are quite tired and could do with modernising. The first room we were given was too small so an upgrade was required. The spa facilities are not great so do not book this hotel if you're looking for somewhere to relax spa. The breakfast however was excellent!

The room was great (had a suite), clean and looked nice. The hotel in it self also bears a high standard, but it is all a bit old and would benefit from a facelift. Breakfast amazing, staff helpfull and friendly. Beds comfy. Not noisy neighbourhood, but close proximity to lots of good restaurants and stuff.

The hotel is situated on the edge of the Old Town and is an interesting old building, however, because of its age and style, the rooms are rather dark and small. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the hotel was good value overall. It is very well situated for the Old Town (Gamla Stan), and is within walking distance of most public transport.

Wonderful suite overlooking the water - perfect romantic view. Staff all very friendly and made us feel welcome. Didn't use the spa but would have done if stayed for longer. Right in the Old Town so easy to walk everywhere.

We stayed here for only one night, but this would have to be one of the best hotels we've stayed at in all of Europe. We travel a lot, and this is the first hotel we've come across that remember what helpful, well mannered service is all about. Staff were very caring, polite and very friendly. The breakfast was terrific, and was plenty to chose from. Our room was at the back, out of the way and was really quiet, so we slept really well. The only thing with this hotel, was the location and the ease of getting into the city. But if you are prepared to walk about the place, it won't be a drama. Having said that, it was close to the old town. Depends what you're after really.

Hotel was comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. The bar was great and breakfast, although busy, also very good. Would definitely stay there again, particularly as the hotel is so central.

Nice hotel but I got woken at 4.30am and kept awake as trucks reversed up the narrow alley next to my room to deliver to the hotel and to other restaurants and businesses. I would not book the hotel again as I need the sleep.

really good overall but disappointed not to get aroom with a view of the river especially as we had booked an executive room . ... when you book on line you are not given that option .

incredible breakfast and the most amazing location. Be aware though, the pool is not a swimming-pool but a small cold pool to use after the sauna and no internet working in our room whatsoever.
