Locked out of Holiday Inn Brent Cross
I arrived at Holiday Inn Brent Cross to find the doors locked. Staff let me in and confirmed that all reservations had been transferred to Holiday Inn, Wembley, but this had not been communicated ahead of my trip and I had no choice but to accept the transfer.
When I arrived at the Wembley Hotel, my room was a twin and not a double as booked. I requested a different room but the hotel was full. The room provided suffered from excessive noise generated by the nearby lift which sounded like someone drilling and sound proofing windows which were not fitted properly so there was a lot of noise from outside. I confirmed the details to staff on departure but no offer of compensation for any of the inconvenience of this trip.
