The Hotel is quite nice. Older historical building made into a hotel the rooms and bathrooms are not too spacious so there are some not so great views—especially if you book through third parties I think. However, the hotel provides a fabulous breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet for the cost of your hotel room. Which I don’t think I have ever had in all my travels around the world. The shower stall was broken and water leaked into the shower. So that was not so great but the staff at the reception were very nice so we didn’t really complain much.

I was blown away by the kind, caring, and supportive staff at the Academy. Their food was delicious, the bed so comfortable, and my stay was fantastic! It was a fabulous stay by every metric. The room was delightful and the bed and linens so perfect for sleep after a long day out walking and the breakfast was delicious with many options. One of the best features of the hotel were its numerous public spaces including a garden - and one could sit and read while having a coffee or tea or cocktail. Truly a gem of a place - looking forward to returning soon.
