The Abode is very central, surrounded by lovely shops and excellent places to eat . The staff are very pleasant and helpful The room was spacious and very clean ,there was a very good iron and a excellent hairdryer available in the room . There are at least 2 maybe more very comfortable sitting areas available for guests to avail of if weather was not good

The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. Location was 10/10. Food was amazing and atmosphere was lovely. Fire alarm went off at 4am but that was the only thing that let the trip down. I would stay here again 100%

All the staff excelled during our stay, all were very friendly, pleasant and polite!!! Although I rate this hotel 5*i think the management keep an eye on condition as I thought areas of the bath were starting to look tired. That said it was really clean, with a good shower and plenty of hot water. A spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed. The room was well appointed, complimented by good towels and robes. Continental Breakfast was ample, and the restaurant was extremely clean as were the bar lobby and corridors. My wife and I never found any fault with the hotel, and although our first stay I’m sure it won’t be our last. For a hotel on Canterbury High Street it is definitely value for money.

The hotel itself was fine and the staff were lovely. The continental breakfast choice restrictions were bizarre and unnecessary. For instance, getting a fruit dish, you had to pay extra for toast. A broader buffet would be more normal and less confusing. If you stay for one night, it means leaving with a far from great lasting memory.

The hotel is centrally located so perfect to discover Canterbury by foot. The staff are nice and the barman made us a mean Negroni. We highly recommend staying there if you want to visit Canterbury, and make the most if its restaurants and pubs in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Abode Canterbury. It is in an excellent location, right in the center of the old town, just across from the Cathedral. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the "included" breakfast was just dry cereal and fruit plus toast, oatmeal or a croissant. All carbs. It would have been nice to have had yogurt or something that offered a little protein. Otherwise it is a really nice place to stay.
