This is a fairly basic hotel. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and it was easily the best part of our stay. We arrived early after being told there was a good chance our room would be ready by a certain time. It wasn’t, which can happen, but it was frustrating since we planned our day around that expectation. The biggest issue was a safety concern. One of the stairwell doors was broken, and my daughter became trapped because she couldn’t get back out. Saying she was scared would be an understatement. The only reason it ended well was because I happened to see her from the elevator area and realized she was stuck. The hotel’s solution was simply to prop the broken door open. That didn’t feel like an appropriate response to what seemed like a serious safety issue. The breakfast was genuinely great, but the stairwell incident overshadowed the rest of our stay.

Great hotel! Impressed with staff welcome and professionalism upon check-in. Facility and rooms are updated. I appreciated the space in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was super allowing you to nearly create a Full English breakfast or something else, so the options were top notch. Finally and most importantly, this hotel has a great location making exploring Central London or going to a West End show easy.
