The hotel is starting to show its age. A little worn cracked tikes in tge bathroom, bolt covers missing off the toilets. Carpets are showing their age. Cleaning staff is basicaly good, but missing stuff, beside the befs barhrooms have hair in them.

Very convenient to both Burnaby and Coquitlam. The property is basic but clean and comfortable. There is a small gym with a sauna. The outdoor pool is of course closed in winter. Rooms have refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers. One item lacking is in room safes that I view as essential for long term stays or for those traveling with their passports.

For starters when we got there the room smelt like mold, the fridge leaked so water was on floor, when we told them they gave us some spray to hide smell and wiped up water. We asked to change rooms said they were full! There was mold in the air conditioner/heat. So I asked for my $$ back to go somewhere else but there was no where in the area that had a room so they said they’d give us a good discount for the 2nd night. When we checked out it was a different person nothing on file so I believe she gave us 10$ off. This hotel is old and not taken care of very well.

The breakfast included was good because there were 3 warm food available and a waffle machine.
The room is adequate. But there was a cockroach baby by the sink which means there is a pest infestation happening in the building somewhere which I hope will be doubt with soon as other guests may freaked out.
