Lovely hotel but under construction
Booked last December for husbands 60th birthday surprise for show, was very disappointed on seeing that the hotel was completely wrapped and surrounded by scaffolding as booked this hotel as stated great views across london, if I’d known it was under construction I would’ve booked nearer the venue. But the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff excellent

Comfortable stay
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast as of a good standard and there was a good choice. We were unaware of renovations being done prior to the stay, so surprised on arrival to find the building completely covered in scaffolding. Reception service and bar service left a lot to be desired.

Not a holiday at the holiday inn!
Room was not clean, table sticky and hairs not belonging to me in bathroom and on pillow. Major works going on and side entrance didn’t feel safe. Very noisy in the am due to works

Poor service. Accidentally booked the wrong date and wanted to transfer it to the correct date. This was not permitted and I lost all the money. Poor customer service guys. You should be ashamed of yourselves, especially when I use hotels.com and IHG hotels so much.

There was building works going on at the hotel our room view window had scaffolding up and cement smell in the room which was open on arrival and the dust from thd building works . Thd bathroom stunk like old cigarettes smell was an awful nights sleep banging of doors on reporting it yo receptionist he or she didnt seem conconcerned and told us to email the manager no compensation was offered very bad service .

Liar, liar.....
We only booked here because they advertised parking. However. I prepaid for 4 nights and only got to park in their lot 2 nights. Realistically, there are only 10 spaces for the entire hotel. I was promised a refund for the parking fees but was constantly given the run around about getting it. I was told the manager would have to approve it but he was never there. I was told to park on the street behind the hotel and got a parking ticket the first night. So not only am i out my parking fees, I had to pay a £60 ticket. I can't wait to go back to London but will stay somewhere else. This place will lie and steal your money.

AVOID!! So rude and unprofessional
The worse experience of any hotel I have stayed it - and I didn’t even make it inside!
I arrived to park my car in the excuse of a car park, the reason I got stuck was that there were cars waiting, then cars waiting behind me leading into the busy carriageway road - cause mass issues and extremely dangerous. After being stranded in the car park for 15 minutes I made the decision to ring the reception for some assistance. Unfortunately I got a guy called Frank (the Manager apparently). I explained the car parking situation, and that as there are no spaces I will book into a different hotel at my cost but I’m not paying for parking as technically I have not ‘Parked’. I asked him to put my reg in and clear it off so I am not fined. He would not cooperate, was extremely rude! He explained that he does not have the time to help me - I asked for a call back when convenient - he said he would be too busy. You had vans parked in disabled spaces also, without displaying a badge - I raised this also and Franks extremely professional response was ‘it’s first come first served’.
I’ve never experienced anything like this before, I spend £1000’s a year with work on hotels, and I will never book into a Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express again.

Cheaters - They fleeced me.
Worst experience ever.
We had stayed only 1 night and checked out before 11 am next morning (21st July) after being assured by Anita
(Front desk) that the balance of the 4 nights amount will be refunded if we wanted to check-out early.
In case it was not so, Then my plan was to continue to stay there rather than move to another hotel. I double-triple times reconfirmed and was assured by Anita that 'I need not worry' and she will initiate the refund.
On following up the day after, I was informed that it will not be refunded. Pedro Teixeira, the reservation manager, accepted a mistake on part of their staff but said he cannot do anything. Now, this is an error from their team.
They cannot put the cost of not training their staff on me. I chased Pedro requesting that the mistake is on their part and why I should I suffer by ending up paying for 4 extra nights. They need to refund and be fair. Pedro, just chose to ignore my plight. I asked him to be fair and not take advantage and be fair to compensate for their team's mistake. However, he is not refunding and hate Holiday Inn Express for this! THEY HAVE JUST CHEATED ME. THEY HAVE CHARGED ME FOR 5 NIGHTS AGAINST THE ONE I USED BECAUSE THEY ASSURED ME THAT THEY WILL REFUND MY 4 NIGHTS IF I CHECKED OUT AFTER 1 NIGHT!
If Holiday Inn has any customer service policy then this is a classic example for them to step and resolve. Remaining in anticipation.

Good stay in Limehouse
Very good, but the floor of the shower cubicle in our room (713) was extremely slippery and could easily cause a fall. But the room was clean, the bed good and the breakfast was tasty.
all in all, a very good experience
