BTDC

Nusa Dua's BTDC area delivers tropical paradise vibes without Bali's typical hustle. This gated enclave offers pristine white-sand beaches, manicured gardens, and luxury resorts that inspire Instagram envy. Visitors bounce between Nusa Dua Beach, Geger Beach, and the dramatic Waterblow, or explore Museum Pasifika for culture between sunbathing sessions. Upscale dining and shopping dominate the Bali Collection complex, featuring international cuisine and designer stores. Getting around is effortless with resort shuttles, golf carts, and taxis connecting beachfront hotels to nearby attractions. The airport sits just 15 minutes away, making this polished paradise surprisingly accessible.

Tanjung Benoa

Tanjung Benoa dazzles with golden beaches where parasails paint the sky and jet skis zigzag through turquoise waters. Water sports rule here – try everything from banana boats to snorkelling while traditional jukung fishing boats bob nearby. The peninsula buzzes with beachfront energy during the day, but evenings bring peaceful sunset views and the gentle soundtrack of waves. Resort life defines this slice of Nusa Dua, with beachside restaurants serving fresh seafood and coconuts sipped straight from the shell. Most visitors stay in luxurious beachfront resorts where Balinese architecture blends perfectly with tropical gardens.

Benoa

Benoa's pristine beaches and luxury resorts create the perfect tropical playground for water lovers. Jump from paddleboarding in calm turquoise waters to lounging at upscale beachfront bars. The Pasifika Museum showcases impressive Asian-Pacific art, while championship greens at Bali National Golf Club offer ocean views worth the swing. Resort restaurants serve refined Indonesian cuisine alongside international dishes in elegant settings with ocean breezes. Getting around requires taxis or hotel shuttles since public transit is limited. The nearby Bali Collection shopping complex has everything from designer boutiques to local crafts for holiday splurging.

Pratama serves up pristine beaches, luxury vibes, and resort-style relaxation in Nusa Dua. Golden sands at Geger Beach offer calm swimming waters while the Bali Collection shopping complex provides retail therapy in open-air pavilions. Art lovers can explore Museum Pasifika's Southeast Asian collections, or you might prefer teeing off at the emerald fairways of Bali National Golf Club. Getting around is best done via hotel shuttles or taxis, as public transit is limited. Dining options focus on upscale international cuisine at oceanfront restaurants and elegant beach clubs. Most accommodation is luxury beach resorts and private villas with infinity pools, spa services, and direct beach access.

Sawangan

Sawangan's pristine white sand beaches stretch along the Indian Ocean, framed by luxury resorts with infinity pools that seem to merge with the azure horizon. Resort gardens burst with tropical flowers while private beach clubs offer exclusive cabanas beneath swaying palms. Geger Beach and Pandawa Beach showcase Bali's natural beauty with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and sunset gazing. Dining revolves around upscale beachfront restaurants featuring international cuisine and refined Indonesian dishes. Transport options include resort shuttles and ride-sharing services, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Grand Hyatt Bali

Grand Hyatt Bali

10/10 Excellent
"If you are going to Bali, this hotel is the place to stay. Only 25 minutes from the airport. We opted for the daily breakfast included. They have 3 different restaurants you can pick for breakfast (they all serve the same food). We did not take the full all inclusive and very happy we didn't. There is the Bali Collection just off the property that has many restaurants and spas. The staff are super friendly. There is a sports lounge that has a pool table, fooseball table and a pinball machine, all free to use. The drinks and appies at the sports lounge are great, make sure to try the Margherita pizza, it is amazing. The room was very spacious. We had a nice little deck over looking the garden. Amenities in the bathroom were amazing, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. We asked them for a foam pillow and they brought two up for us withing 1/2 hour. They also provide 6 bottles of water daily to drink or for use to brush your teeth. Towel service included and there are signs that you cannot reserve a pool lounger prior to 9:30am, if you do and you are not actively there, towel will be removed. If considering the Nusa Dua area, I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back here the next time in Bali."
